Last Friday evening was the memorial service for wonderful comedy entertainer and physical comedian Mikael Rudolph. He passed away at 51 years old, after a hard battle with cancer. He was someone I've know for over 25 years. I studied movement, and physical comedy with him several times. He was a student of Marcel Marceau and was highly praised by his teacher.
Mikeal worked the Renaissance Festival for many years and was named their best new act and won many other awards for excellence. He included magic and comedy in his amazing act.
The following are thoughts written after the Memorial.
Thank you for the sweet and touching tribute to Mikael on Friday. The video and the comments and the dancing and the mime and music were all so sweet.
I had wonderful Mikael dreams that night. I woke up three times and remembered the vivid dreams that included hanging out with Mikael and doing things and going places... they were all new, by that I mean not memories of the past, but very cool new adventures. I figure they were wish fulfillment type dreams. But I like to think of them as a taste of what heaven must be like... plenty of time to be with cool people on cool adventures. Bless you Mikael.
